Yea, got to agree with this. I let the autopilot do the hard work so that I can spend more time checking out the great scenery down below. I have Littlenavmap running on a remote computer and it tells me the names of all those towns, villages, rivers, lakes etc down there. Really good stuff.

I've really taken a fancy to this. Used the ultralight and the Paraglider a lot in FSX and P3D for exploring new scenery.

Early memories of mine from way back in the early 1950s was watching my uncle getting ready to go out on the town on a Saturday evening. The tie was on and while the hair was being Brylcreemed, the wind up gramophone  was playing a 78rpm record of Doris Day singing "Secret Love" (I think "The Deadwood Stage" was on the other side). So the movie Calamity Jane has always held a nostalgic memory for me. I've got the DVD in the cupboard and give it a spin now and again for old times sake.
