  1. Znia's post in AA or texture filtering not working was marked as the answer   
    I fixed the problem just announcing it for others. My problem stemmed from the fact that every time I restarted my computer this is what I saw.

    But i realized i had to click override application settings and change it to 4x (which is what it was set to in the dx10 fixer) and then change it back to use application settings and right click apply now, before I started fsx. I didn't realize what a big difference it made.
