  1. Sorry to revisit an old topic. Something must have changed when I updated stuff on my computer. Pilot2Atc is not hearing me any more. Any assistance would be great. Thanks!

  2. Hi all. I've noticed lately that when departing KMIA Pilot2ATC stays stuck on tower. Sometimes if I manually move the freq to departure it works but will not pick up the proper Center. Any one else experiencing these issues? BTW I'm using the latest release. I also noticed this problem with the prior release.

  3. I believe that I may have solved my issue with High CPU usage. I noticed the other day when flying the Zibo 737 from KTUS to KMDW when I shut down the plane the F/O radio was still broadcasting ATIS information from KTUS. I'm thinking that Pilot2ATC is still attempting to use this information therefor using high memory and CPU and causing Pilot2ATC to become unresponsive sometimes. Anyone else having high CPU usage I would suggest testing this by only using 1 of the radios in the cockpit or if you're unable to do this make sure they are both switched to just one radio. I would be interested to know if this solved your problem also.

P.S. any input on this Dave would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again, Jeff

  4. Thanks for the quick response Dave, The last flight I flew was KLAX-KHOU. I'm also looking into a possible scenery issue that I discovered the other day which may possibly be an issue also. I'm currently flying this route right now with what I think is fixed scenery. After the flight I will test it with your XPUIPC plug in to see if that makes a difference also. I'm currently about an hour into the flight and my CPU usage is bouncing between 6 and 7 %. I know when I got close to T/D for this flight the last time Pilot2ATC was becoming unresponsive and using around 25% or so CPU usage. I'll get back to you with my results either way. Thanks again!

  5. Hi Dave, I was wondering if you were making any headway in finding out the issue with the high CPU load? I'm still experiencing this issue. In short flights (2 1/2- 3 hrs) or so it gets really bad and becomes unresponsive when getting closer to the destination. I think it may have something to do with how your program tracks the flight. Sometimes when I close Pilot2ATC and reopen it, it works but does not show the yellow airplane tracker on the map but does somehow track you. It has a low CPU load when this occurs. I'm currently using the 2.0.5.9 XPUIPC plugin for Pilot2ATC.

    Thanks, Jeff

  6. Hi Dave, The two flights I had issues with were KSEA-RKSI and RKSI-EDDF. Ran my task manager during both these flights when I noticed that Pilot2Atc was not responding and noticed that my CPU was maxing out. Xplane 11 was running around 35% and Pilot2Atc was running at 60% or more thus impacting FPS on Xplane 11. Once I closed Pilot2Atc and reopened it midflight it went back down to normal rates. I was also using Traffic Global for TCAS during these flights. Hope this helps identify the problem. BTW I really enjoy your product. Thanks, Jeff

  7. I've started experiencing high CPU usage over long range flights to the point where I have to close Pilot2Atc and restart it. On a long range flight it gets to the point that it's using more of the CPU than Xplane. What average CPU usage can we expect? As soon as I reset Pilot2Atc I'm down around 3-5 % of CPU usage. Anyone else experiencing this?
