Its not supported nor has IFLY come out saying that it willl be. One of the reasons I haven't gone to V6, more third party devs have moved on.

The plane is great but the sound pack that comes with it is not so good (especially the external sounds). Does anyone have a recommndation for a sound pack like TSS or immersive audio? I saw on simmarket a couple like Skysonic and Adhoc simulations but none have preview videos of the sounds.. Doesn't make sense...
Also, I've noticed button animations in the VC are not smooth (maybe I'm comparing to PMDG). I could not find anything reported in the ifly forum so maybe it's just me.
Aside from that great plane!
Appreciate any feedback
What is your sound reference you are using? The stock sounds are great in my opinon.

If you are using Orbx where there be issues? I have global base and many of the LCs.

It doesn't matter if the minority here will pay for an upgrade if it isn't feasible for the dev team. They have said why. Time for everybody to move on and stop harping on the issue (which isn't an actual issue).
Most 3rd party groups aren't supporting v6, why do you prople that is? Because 3rd party devs hate money? Spoiler Alert: Probably not.
Not a bunch, just a few. Most of us are happy with our thousand off add-ons. I'm locked in on 5.4 and i'm content.

This is really a cross road to all P3D users to me, because those planes represent some of the most powerful add-on's we have in our sim. I understand that MSFS needs to get them, so people there to enjoy them as well, but a simple registry trick shows any plane of PMDG can be imported in v6 without problem. Which means that the amount of work for those companies to get P3D v6 compatible is small. They just need to update the registry of their installers for v6. This is not a good transition. I mean, we will wait PMDG to import their 747 [ which might take years] so they can consider helping P3d v6 users with their beloved planes.
I am dissapointed.
No guarantees they will continue to support P3D. They have to do what is financially responsible for them as a company, and I can't get upset about that. I'm going to lock in to 5.4 for now, may peek at v6 in the future once the workarounds are tested and finalized. Way to many add-ons I like to screw around experimental testing in V6.

We aren't the target audience. But that doesn't mean that don't mind the 1000 or so Beta testers it brings.

The simmers who decided to stayed with P3D keep saying the main reason is because they have invested so much money that they don't want to throw away, which is also indirectly telling the devs they are not willing to spend much more. In my own personal case I just keep my p3d v5 installed to fly the fslabs and stopped spending money on p3d addons a long time ago.
Everything has been said and reconfirmed, LM didn't create a whole new sim, they took the easy way and stayed with the old ESP just keep the same simmers happy with as much backward compatible possible.
but I will not bring anybody back, and the devs know that.
Invested money and are still enjoying that investment to be sure. Also the other add ons that were developed for v5 are fair game as well. Eventually, many devs will start liquidating these assets hopefully, I'm not paying full price if they have no intention to continue to developement on a product as many have indicated.
Also, they aren't using the same old ESP, what is written for P3D v4 onward is significantly different from whatever FSX was. Also, old ESP doesn't necessarily mean BAD. Lots of Dunning-Kruger around the ESP and software developement thrown around here and other places, when many don't understand good code is good code. You don't developed brand new software code if the existing is good, just doesn't make sense.

I don't know how much we trust reviews on Simmarket but two of the reviewers are complaining about performance issues. Has anyone suffered from performance issues with the Justsim version? I'll probably pick it up today, assuming its user head space and timing.

For two decades of simming I have never positively benefited of it. In fact it has been constantly causing issues for me on multiple different sets of PC's and configs. Try to restore it to default and see if that helps. It's just my two cents to your problem 😉
How has custom configurations in NCP caused you issues? I've optimized my setup visuallly and get the most out of my GPU via the RDpresets NCP guide, not sure why it would cause isses beyond someones gap in understanding what they are changing.

Does it matter? not in the least.
Some people obsess over 100% accuracy to airports they never been too, even going so far as to do google earth satelitte comparasion, rather puzzling to be honest. I can understand if that's your home airport but beyond that it gets quite annoying but to each their own no?

Solved. Found the issue was with the Flysimware gps management tool located at C:\FLYSIMWARE. Ran the GPS panel layout app and selected Reality XP GTN 750 I'm up. I'm going to recheck documentation to see if that's noted in the flysimware manual.

I managed to get the pop up version of the GTN750 to work with the flysimware FA50, however after hours of trying I'm at a lost on what I need to do to get it integrated in the VC.
The right entries show up in the panel config but I fail to get it to show up. Below is the pertinent panel entries.

You are correct but based on this article that seems like long way off considering we don't know where they are at with the MSFS version.

P3Dv6 are on in for a long wait I think.
