737NG functions keyboard assignable?

Featured Replies

PMDG Please Respond!!!Like others I'm anxiously awaiting the release of your new fleet. However, as a cockpit builder to take full advantage of your extended systems I need to know if switch functions will be keyboard assignable. To date, I have asked this question *** 3 times *** and not yet has anyone from PMDG bothered to respond. I have asked twice on forums and once via your customer support email.I know you're busy with the release pending but I would really appreciate an answer. In my mind this is one key advantage of Wilco's PIC over DF's fleet (and others), practically everything was keyboard assignable.Hoping to get an answer.Kevin

Kevin-this is the ***first*** time (to follow your typing convention) that I ever hear about your question.Blunt and honest answer: We have not paid particular attention to keyboard assignment for all switch functions - this is something that will come (probably!) after the release, with a special DLL (no promises though! - I will be doing it on my spare time).I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but, even though we *like* to do everything, there's only time to do *most* things. I am a hobbyist myself, tho, so I'll try to add this functionality afterwards...Cheers,

Lefteris,Thank you for your reply. Sorry if I sounded snotty, but I did in fact ask the question several times without any response. I'm a big fan of your aircraft from my days with Fly! purchasing both 757 first and 767 later.Hoping that you can find the time to get the keyboard assignments in there, this will open your aircraft up to another market, that of cockpit builders and there are quite a few building 737NG.Thanks again,Kevin
