July 1, 200322 yr Commercial Member PMDG team,I just watched this plane do things I've never seen an FS airliner do... flew my usual test flight KTUS-KPHX. On final to Runway 26, I manged to screw up and leave the spoilers deployed, (awesome touch with the buffeting sound from them btw - I've never seen that done before!) when I retracted them, the plane ballooned up and got well above glideslope - I then watched in utter amazment as the autoflight system reintercepted FROM ABOVE. I don't even think I've seen 767PIC do that.Lefteris - that ND is a work of art! The curved lines are absolutely perfect.Got a couple requests while we wait for the full manual -Would it be possible to post up quick versions of:1. A basic checklist so we can make sure the plane is configured for takeoff correctly?2. The documentation on DP/STAR/IAP authoring so those of us (like me) who can't wait to start programing procedures can start on it?Awesome job guys, you're gonna win lots of awards and happy customers with this one! Thanks, this made my night!Ryan MaziarzKTUS Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 1, 200322 yr Author Commercial Member Just saw another first:Currently climbing out of KPHX bound for KLAX - decided right after takeoff to pretend like departure cleared me direct BXK (like they usually do in real life) - I line selected it into LSK 1L, EXEC'd it and sat there with another big grin on my face as the plane turned to put the nose directly at BXK - every other plane I've seen sets up a point at the spot you're at when you EXEC, plots a course to the waypoint from there and then actualy turns past the waypoint to intercept that course - not here folks - works just like it's supposed too!:-hah :-hah :-hah :-hah :-hah :-hah RyanEDIT:Here's a quick screen for everyone - currently level at FL350 direct PKE (Parker, CA) on J4 headed for LAX - that's the Colorado River and the AZ/CA border:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/20222.jpg Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
