FS2002 "PMDG_737NG_MAINGAU" Failure to load

Featured Replies

Hello-I just installed the product and consistently get the following error on any of the aircraft, causing FS2002 to crash. I've never had this message with any other 3rd party aircraft. What should I do?ERROR-FS2002MS was unable to load some 3rd party software.File: GAUGESPM_737NG_MAIN.GAUYou can hit RETURN about 30 to 50 times and then the program crashes. Thanks,Matt Ford

Try this:Per PMDG's instructions:REQUIRED INSTALLATION FOR NON-WinXP USERSOur aircraft uses GDI+, Microsoft's cutting-edge graphics deviceinterface technology available natively only in Windows XP. Suchtechnology can be made available to other Windows operating systems byvisiting the link above and installing GDI+ as per the instructionsgiven. It is preferable that the user installs the redistributable intheir Windows system folder, but they can also choose to place the GDI+DLLs in their default FS2002 installation directory, if they so choose.IMPORTANT: The 737NG Software WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY without GDI+ onnon- WindowsXP operating systems. So use this link:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release...releaseid=32738George

Make sure you have the GDI+ update downloaded and installed if you are running a non-xp Windows OS. This should cure the problem :)
