July 3, 200322 yr Hi,I had hardly no problem to download and install. So I felt very lucky. But when I made my first steps with the fmc, I must experience, it knows nearly no ICAO airport code (NOT IN DATABASE).There is a message (faq), how to download and install airac in an any directory. Is this really o.k. - in any dir? How does the fmc know, where to find the data?Detlef ZiehlkeEDDKCologne-Bonn, Germany
July 3, 200322 yr Hello, You will need to register at Navdata (it's free!) to download the file.the file you need from NAVDATA ( http://www.navdata.at/)is "767PIC_all_0304" it's a EXE file that will install here: C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002FMCWPNavData It needs to be here, the sids and stars for it will not work *yet* but there are a couple you can try out for now. July 3, 200322 yr Thanks, that is, what I want to know, that there is a dedicated and not an arbitrary directory. I will try it tonight.Detlef Ziehlke
