Help- I'm getting "Invaid Machine Code" Error- what gives?

Featured Replies

I downloaded and purchased this bird 3 days ago, and am still awaiting the registration code (e-mailed 2 days ago, but understand you are busy).Tonight, when I select the PMGD plane, I get an error message in a box labelled "PMDGOptions" that states "Invalid Machine Code". When I go futher I get the error message "Your PMDG License is Invalid or Expired".The only thing I've done that I can recall is download and install the NavData, as indicated in the PMDG docs. Is it possible to un-install and start again? What gives? I have made no hardware changes either. And, I do have a valid license:"Dear PMDG Customer- Thank you for purchasing a PMDG product. We are committed to providingthe highest quality Aviation Simulation products for desktop use, andthe patronage of our customers is extremely important to us!Here are some important things you should do to protect your purchase:1) Make a backup copy of this product for your own use.2) Save a copy (printed copy!) of your customer receipt and downloadpassword. Without this information, PMDG cannot provide you withcustomer/technical support.3) Please consult the README.TXT file that comes with your product. Inmost cases, all technical installation questions are addressed there.4) Please visit our website on occasion as we do provide upgrades andtechnical updates on occasion.5) If you need technical support, please [email protected] Development TeamPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.comYour Order Confirmation Number is: 172003132017---------------------------------------------------Order Details:Billing Information:Name: BruceKnightAddress1: 2220B Spruce StreetCity: BoulderState: ColoradoZip: 80302County: USPhone: 303-447-9324Comments: Product Details:SKU Product Name QTY Price Extended--------------------------------------------------------------PMDG737NG600700 PMDG 737: The Next Generation for MS Flight Simulator 2002/2004 [$39.95] 1 $39.95 $39.95"Can someone please help? Bump(I've never bumped before, but never been so frustrated either). Can someone please help? It's one thing to have bad frame-rates etc., but to be told that my license is invalid (when I know it's not) really sucks.Thanks,Bruce.

Sorry mate. Cant really help you. I know that when Im online, most of the PMDG team are asleep. It might be the same with you. Have you tried re-installing the addon? Or maybe deleting the SID/STAR files that you installed? See if that makes any difference.Hope all goes well mate.Ryan

Dont' delete anything!!!! Just wait for the PMDG team to get back to you. They know the score and how to fix these type of things ;-) I know it is frusterating, but I assure you that PMDG isn't ignoring you :)

Thanks Ryan and Fred,I think I'll turn in and see what the help the morning brings. Thanks for your replies. There seems to be some very sensitive security code being used here, and the fact that it can just turn you off in an instant, when you know you're a legal owner of the s/w, is somewhat intimidating. Then again, I know the reasons why such code is required. Thanks again,Bruce.
