July 6, 200322 yr Sorry to say, I'm a newbie to FS2002 - I've been a loyal Fly! simmer for years, flying PMDG's excellent Fly! 777 and 757 planes.Well, now that the PMDG 737 for FS2002 is out, I've gotta get used to FS2002! I've slowly been learning all the ins and outs of this sim.One question: Whenever I create a new flight with the PMDG 737, the plane autostarts the engines. Obvisouly, I don't want this - I would like to walk into a cold, dark plane!I cannot find a setting for this _anywhere_ in FS2002...Could one of you FS2002 experts please help me out?Thanks!- Bill Ruppel - William Ruppel, CYTZ, VATSIM 816871
July 6, 200322 yr Just start a standard flight with the 737. Shut everything down and save it as the default flight.A warning though, and I don't know if there is a way round this, if you save a flight during flight (that don't sound right, does it?) when you load it the engines will not be on!Alan
July 6, 200322 yr My method is simple. Load up the airport where you want to go, then load up the default Cessna. Start your flight. Once loaded, turn off the magnetos, the master switches, and fuel pumps, but not the avionics switch! Then load up the 737NG and your good to go.
July 6, 200322 yr Hi,I had no idea what you were referring to until I just looked up what Waffen S S was. Now I see your point. What a horrible tie to an awful group.Just ask Fred, I am sure he
July 6, 200322 yr Your right, I will remove it immediatly. I apologize for that. The reason I wrote that in there was as a jab in the eye of someone accusing me of being 'Waffen SS' with regard to sigs. I do apologize for that.
