Anthony - Example of FMC freeze

Featured Replies

Anthony,Try this example. (see pics)Put manually the flightplan EGLL to EHAM, BPK-UR123-CLN-UL620-REDFA.Activated it, now in the LEGS page you will see DIDGO waypoint, press DEL and select DIDGO, the "Route Discontnuity" flag will show, press EXEC.Now comes the problem.... Select REDFA (LSK4) and press LSK3 to tell the FMC that after CLN go direct REDFA.... FS2002 will freeze (dont't crash), if I go to the Task Manager I see that FS2002.exe is sucking 99 % of the CPU, and have to terminate FS2002 via End Process.Hope this help to find a fix.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/21702.jpgRegards

Charly Diaz Azcue[br /] BAW062 [br /] HC270CH Q8
[/p][/p]
Many thanks !This is useful.anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com

you're welcome. Also noted that if I don't kill fs2002.exe and wait, the hard drive start reading and writing like mad, it's the swap file!!, after 1 or 2 minutes the "Low Memory" box appears on the screen.Normally I never get this message with the 737NG, and I don't suffer from low FPS with this product (I'm not using the VC I'm reserving that for FS9), it only happens if I wait when fs2002 freezes.Regards

Charly Diaz Azcue[br /] BAW062 [br /] HC270CH Q8
[/p][/p]
