July 8, 200322 yr Hi,I use a second monitor on the same PC where I put most of my instruments. Very said to see that undocking is not what I expected1* A lot of waste space around the FMC, Radio, and Trottle.2* Not easy to undock, draging to another window results in a view without a panel. Are you guys going to change this in the update ?Thanks in advance John Boontjes
July 8, 200322 yr Hi John,I completely agree on the waste space. I hope they will do something about that.As far as the view without a panel is concerned, I accidentally discovered that if you select the overhead panel and then put it to another monitor you can get the forward panel back by using Shift + 2.However, you have to be careful about that, apparently it is possible to get two forward panels, if you would use Shift + 3 as well for instance, you will get a new forward panel on top of the other and a lot of malfunctions can occur that way. However, this is the only way I found I can get the overhead on the other monitor.Leo Bakker
July 14, 200322 yr Yes. I strongly agree and hope that PMDG will fix this in the upcoming patch.I have tried to crop of the black areas in a graphics editor but the black area's remain. It seems that it is not just a question of bitmap adjusting...(N.B. If the resolution of the image is not retained, there is a "unregistered" message).Dear PMDG team :-wave :-wave:-wave :-wave , could you please let us know if this will be adressed in the upcoming patch ???If I can't use the 737NG on my three-monitor setup it is rendered unusable for me.:-violin
July 14, 200322 yr One cannot edit a panel background bitmap with getting "unregistered" messages. OMG.PMDG, did you do this so you could control the placement of the FMC away from the edge of the screen and use transparency to fill the gap? If so, why not use something like window_pos=0.1,0.1 instead? No need for big transparent borders.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
