NEED HELP TO INSTALL PDMG 737

Featured Replies

Like most of us, I have been waiting for months you great product, but had bad news when trying to install. Could you please help me on those issues in order to finally enjoy your 737 asap.1. 3 extra set up files.Have downloaded the main PDMG file and the 3 extra set up files (18mb, 18mb and 15mb).Those three files are not executable and cannot be opened. I read somewhere that they should be placed all in the same folder...But which one ? Should they go along with the main file.I have three PDMG folders, in:a) program files, where I have downloaded the manual:( fs2002 root folderc) fs2002/aircraftWhere should the extra files go ? Any place where I could find detailed documentation on installation. The one I saw is very undetailed.2. problems when executing the main fileIs this linked ? Or is this registration related ? but when I start executing the main file, it stops and ask for a second cd to be inserted. Then I have to exit setup and might probably loose some files by doing so. Is this normal ? and if yes, is the second cd requested related to the future 800/900 adons ?Would really appreciate your help as I am a bit lost and would really like to enjoy flying your beautiful aircraft.Patrick Switzerland

Patrick, Sir, just make a new folder on your desktop and name it what you like, place all the files you downloaded into it. Next, double click on the EXE file, you will not have to do anything with the other 3 files, the EXE will access them during the setup process.Questions?[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Thanks Randy, got it. Just one last question, what about part 2 of my question (exe.file asking for disk nbr2 when installing). Wi your answer solve this issue as well ?Please adviseThanksPatrick

I have no idea about it asking for this other than it should be one of the four you have. It is not some future thing.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? You might have the same situation as I had. The instructions are incomplete insofar as they skip one stage, namely that one needs to unzip/extract the exe file before it will "execute" without hollering about that "second disc". Just unzip it into the same folder where the other files are, and then double-click on the resulting icon. That should do the job.Jaap Verduijn.

Many thanks Jaap. Will try that. Happy that someone got the point.I think that installation instructions could have been a bit more detailed, many be a future addition in the manual files.Patrick.

You're welcome, Patrick. Please let us know if it works for you too, it might help others who have the same issue.Jaap Verduijn.
