July 14, 200322 yr Does anyone here know how you put airways into the FMC, if it's at all possible? Scott Stephen CYXE, Saskatoon
July 14, 200322 yr Hi ScottOn the RTE page you have to start with a waypoint as the first point. As you are going from the runway to this first waypoint. This point is entered on the right side (The TO side) keys on the FMC. If your waypoint is on an airway you can continue to enter that airway name in the scratchpad and put it on the left side (the VIA side) of the FMC. The FMC is now expecting an exit point from this airway either to your destination (you're finished in this case) or to another airway. If the latter you have to enter a waypoint that is common to both your intended airways. And this waypoint you enter on the right side in the squares that appeared after you entered the airway. The FMC will program all the waypoints between your entry (your first) and your exit (last) point.Hope it makes sense. It seems a bit "uncoordinated" when I re-read this, as english is not my native language.Regards Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
