July 16, 200322 yr Hi people at PMDG.I haven't had a proper chance to fly your plane yet, but on first look, it's excellent! A few little things i noticed which could be 'improved' (well from my point of view anyway).1. Could you please remove that really annoying approach chart in the VC? Being so big and white its really distracting!2. I might be wrong, but from what i remember of my jumpseat landing in an -800, the trim wheel moves alot, and quickly! It wizzes round several times as the flaps are extended. i haven't tried the autotrim on yours yet but it hardly moves at all when i manually trim. Also, the real one makes a clicking noise as it moves. But yours doesn't.3. Check the look of the standby compass housing. In yours it's a bit big and square. Although from the photos i've got, i admit i can't see it that well, so i might be wrong here. And one problem i've had:Sometimes when i load straight into the VC, FS crashes. Generally if i load into the 2D view 1st and then change, it's fine.Sorry to nit pick, but it's so good i couldn't find anything else to whinge about! Thanks, Mark

If you have a paint program, and follow the directions in the manual, you can change the approach plate, and even it's color. Perhaps We'll darken it a bit though :-)2. The trim wheel in the VC: This is an MSFSism. We are trying to find a workaround to make it move properly3. I'll check out the compass housing :-)VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
