July 22, 200322 yr When I am climbing with LNAV and VNAV active, I have a vertical speed around 5000 feet per minut. Is it possible to adjust the climb, so I can climb slower? I don't think the passengers likes this vertical speed all the way up to cruise level.
July 22, 200322 yr HiYou could always try to derate your TO and CLB thrust settings. It is usually done as the 737-600 is a tad overpowered. Especially important when you fly light. I usually derate to TO2 and CLB2 and it gives me somewhere between 2000-3000 fpm.Hope it helps Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
July 22, 200322 yr You say that the -600 is overpowered, is that an issue that will be fixed in the patch?Marius
July 22, 200322 yr :-)Nope, that's the way it is in real life too! At least that's what I understand. I think the air-file is one issue PMDG don't have to do anything about. She flies like a beauty.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
July 22, 200322 yr Yes Marius, the real 737-600 is overpowered, and so is the 777-200...Been flying with both these several times, and a flight with a lightly loaded BA777 was fantastic, it climbed just like a 737-600 :)I think you got the correct answer here regarding the climb. I forgot to mention this in the flighsim.no forum :)
July 22, 200322 yr Ok, thank you for your anwsers. I have one more question, on the CRZ-page, it was an option called climb rate, what do I change therw?Marius
