August 1, 200322 yr Hello everybody! Congratulations to such a great add-on for the FS. I really enjoy simming with your 737.I have a problem concerning the engine start procedure. I followed the instructions in the "normal procedures" checklist but I can start only engine "2". Engine "1" does not start. There are some problems with the oil pressure which does not rise. I have a "dual bleed" message after having started engine "1" because I use the APU to start. Packs are off, bleeds are on, isolation valve is open.Does anybody have an idea? Thanks for helping me!
August 1, 200322 yr I had the same problem, although it was engine "1" starting (left) and engine "2" not (right). After a re-read the instructions :) (as you have as well), I discovered it was the isolation valve that I didn't have right. Rather, both needles on the bleed pressure gauge did not rise - only one had. The isolation valve said that both should.I had to cycle the isolation valve a few times, THEN the needles rose. I attributed it to running with FS2004 - the panel has some lag and speed issues, so perhaps it didn't register my panel-flips in a timely manner. You say that the "bleeds" are on... I don't have the engine bleed valves open yet. I think those are to remain closed until both engines are running. (At least that's how I did it, I think)Good luck!-Greg
