FS9/FS2k2 - disengaged throttle lever

Featured Replies

Hi,I've experienced difficulties to reengage both throttle levers if I inadvertedly have disengaged one. Pressing E+1,2 in any combination or any fashion does not help. I get stuck with controlling one of the levers.I've seen this problem both in FS2k2 and in FS9. And I haven't found any other work-around than restarting the sim. I'm beginning to think this is related to some of us having difficulties with the doors. Could it be some kind of timing, processing error i.e. the PMDG737 logic will not recieve the key presses in a way that it can interpret. Could be caused by my rather slow computer (800Mhz/384Mb)?Just some thoughts. Anyone else experienceing this?Regards,EDIT: Of course you can always delete the key assignment for chosing one or the other engine! :-) Have to try that later.

I've seen this issue in other aircraft (767PIC, DF734, PSSA320, ...) in FS2002. It seems those multi-key sequences are very sensitive to timing. I believe DF added a hidden clickspot that essentially does the E+1/2 to resynchronize and is less sensitive to the timing, but I could be mistaken. Just something PMDG might want to look into in the future.Disabling those keystrokes is not a bad idea. It seems it is easier to get into that situation than out of it. I think I'll do that.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
