August 2, 200322 yr I asked about this the other day and got no satisfactory answer from anyone.Look at the screenshot below and notice the error message. Why is this happening even after the SU1 release has been properly installed. It is also happenning on the Arrival side of the gauge and not only at KSEA but many others.I have placed the NAVDATA info and SIDSTAR info into the same exact place in FS9 they were located in FS2002 and still get the error message and it also now appears in FS2002 where it didnt before I installed the NG into FS9.This seems to be my only problem and is keeping me from that long cross country flight.....Please Help.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/27460.jpgRandy Smith
August 2, 200322 yr Randy,This is caused by an SID and or STAR file that has improper syntax. Not sure what you can do besides wait for the re-release of the SID/STAR files....but I will say that I don't have that problem at KSEA with the original SID/STAR release from PMDG. Perhaps you are using your own files, or someone elses?
August 2, 200322 yr Try to download the SIDS/STARS/APPROACHES of KSEA from www.navdata.atFloris Hartog
August 2, 200322 yr Hey Randy, First there is no problem with the FMC, it's the particular SID or STAR. These are being worked out correctly, untill then I suggest you manualy input you waypoints etc for the sids or stars that are giving you these problems and use the SAVE rte function, it will save you time.
