I just tried a flight from KBWI to KMIA. My Flight level was set to 31000 ft. But when it got to FL310 (I was in VNav by the way)it pitched up to 8000 fps and needless to say the plan stalled. Just thought I would pass this one. Hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm using FS2004

Hey Bob, Were you running in windowed mode or fullscreen? Did you do anything while climbing like switch windows etc? Are you running any external programs related to FS? The more details you provide will help greatly.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hi RandyI was running in windows mode, and I was using the FS ATC so they were step climbing me up to FL310. I was using FS downloaded weather. And I was using FSFlight Keeper. That

Did you switch pitch modes during climb? Because sometimes the autopilot forgets what mode it is in(bug, yes we kn ow). Solution, make sure to cycle the AP off, and then back on, and then change the roll or pitch mode(whatever is not working right), and then cycle back to what you want.

Thanks Randy,I'll give it a try. Let you know what happens.
