August 3, 200322 yr Hey guys,It seems I'm having a problem running the 2D panel with the plane. This occurs after I installed the patch for FS9 and the frames really drop down to about 10-13 FPS while if I switch to the exterior view, my frames are around 25. I've looked around for a solution but anything I try, doesn't seem to help the situation. I've tried lowering the sound quality to "low" and Mipmap to 4, done a complete reinstall of the 737NG, updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers, antialiasing, and the works. Add the new clouds in FS9 and I find myself with an unflyable aircraft. Any help you can provide is appreciated as I cannot find a solution to my problem.ThanksEdit : Yes computer stats may help :)AMD Athlon XP 1700+ 1.4 GHz 768 DDR Geforce 4 TI 4200 128 MB Windows XP

August 3, 200322 yr I have the same problem with fs2002. Before the patch, I had a fps on 20-25 in cocpitview, but now I only get 8-10 fps.My com specs are:Win xp homeAmd athlon xp1900+512 mb ramati radeon 9700pro
August 3, 200322 yr Are you guys sure it's not those fancy new clouds? Try setting your skys to clear and see what that does, at least you will be able to find a compromise with FS settings.. I get 15-20 with my GF2 BUT with detailed clouds 5-8 if I'm lucky..[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. August 3, 200322 yr I got the same problem, and i have adjustes every way possible. With minimum settings,it seems fps wont get over the twenties in any way. There is something very fishy going on here im sure.In fs2002 i get 25-30 fps,in fs2004.11-12 fps in 2d.Vc is a little better.I've reinstalled patch, reinstalled Pmdg737 and just now reinstalled FS2004 with everything.Still the same.PMDG,i find it hard to believe u can patch the 737 to the worse.Because thats exectly what have happend to me.Before patch.Between 20-30 in 2d.After patch 11-12.This cant be right im sure?!?
August 3, 200322 yr hmmm..I get an improvement without the clouds.. but still nothing great..:(Regards,Sean
August 3, 200322 yr For me, clouds have no impact. Can any PMDG member confirm this because it really has been a problem with no solution. Thanks
October 28, 200322 yr Hi!Have suffered from this bug also, but yesterday i finally found out how to get rid of this problem!. Simply by turning AA completely OFF, ( disabled both in FS menu, and on nvidia control panel. ). Now my fps is up at 24 in 2D panel also....PMDG: Have you altered any configuration rgd how gauges does use AA in the 2D panel ?. maybe this causes the error ? . RgdFreddy WilhelmsenNorway
October 28, 200322 yr Must keep in mind what is being rendered with the panel. Those beautiful displays cost in frame rates, no way around it. So we cannot except better frame rates than the exterior view. PS- this is not a bug.......[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
October 28, 200322 yr Hi again! How come this is not an issue within FS2002 then ?Must be some differences in how FS handles AA in 2002 contar 2004 ...Freddy
October 29, 200322 yr I must say I have this problem as well. I spend a good deal of my "workday" looking for a solution to this 2d panel issue. Perhaps the solution will come with my new overclocking case that comes from UPS in the next week.
