Hello!First of all ,let me say that i love this bird. Its an amazing work by the pmdg team. But too the point!:There are several people posting problems with the patch in the forum right now.In fact since the patch arrived, there have been an exploding number of topics. Why is that?Personally i have:- poor FPS in 2d view like many in here(FS2004)- the sound is distorted(FS2004)- my joystick no longer works in FS2002???(Dont know if this is fs2004 related or pmdg related. It started after installing the patch,so i must wonder.)- fuel insufficient like everyone else(Both)- oversensitiv pitch movements in trim(FS2004)Just to mention some. There may be more, but small error like light logic and so on doesnt bother me in first place. Those are minors. The main problem i see,is the FPS problem for many of us in 2d view.I consider my system average or above average, but had in FS2002 been able to adjust according my needs. So i have been flying steady on 30 fps, with some adjustments. After switching to FS2004 my general fps raised,or i could adjust my sliders up.No problem achieving 30 fps here. Most of sliders were at max or nearby.Without autogen.Never used it.So the way i see it.PMDG works well in fs2002,good framerates in both 2D and VC.In FS2004 its a nightmare.FPS down at 11-12 in 2D and between 18-23 in VC.So,nonflyable in 2D,but just about flyable in VC.You can claim this is a hardware matter,or a matter of bying better hardware, but i couldnt agree less.Because this bird flies beatiful in FS2002.And according to my tests FS2004 is more optimised than fS2002.-Conclusion:PMDG should fly BETTER in FS2004. NOW,WHY DONT IT????Is this because there is a interactiv VC in FS2004?In that case,i would have been glad to have the interactivity removed.I could do it in 2D like always.OR.Is there a glitch in the patch, that makes this a nightmare for some of us?The reason...who knows. There are no logic in it.People with low system and high systems are suffering from this.OR.Have the PMDG team traded away the high fps in 2D too get a better one in VC?Could seem like it.I had much better fps in 2d before the patch, between 20 and 30.This might be very related too my problems, but there are several problems around right now.But there are the ones im concerned about, because it makes PMDG 737 useless right now,in both FS2002 and FS2004.I hope The PMDG team could answer or enlighten some of these problems.

>>PMDG should fly BETTER in FS2004.What are your graphical settings in FS2004? You may have to optimize it for FS2004 differently than you did for FS2002. It is a different sim>>Is this because there is a interactiv VC in FS2004No, because if you are seeing poor frame rates in FS2004 with the 2D panel only.. the VC doesnt come into play.>>it makes PMDG 737 useless right now,in both FS2002 and FS2004.Let's not get over exicted. Your quote: "So the way i see it.PMDG works well in fs2002,good framerates in both 2D and VC"Let us know how you are optimizing your FS2004 display, sound, weather and traffic settings, and we will try to help you out.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif

Hello again!Yes,the last point about optimizing.Because that's the part that i find very strange. In FS2002 there was no problem optimizing.A slider here and a slider there.Usually found a good comprimise. But this seems to be impossible using the bird in FS2004.To test it out i sat the slider to ultra low(lowest setting). It still would'n go past the 20 fps mark, and its flucturating down to 12-13 area, with the highest top around 20-21.An average here would be around 15 fps.I tried adjusting each of every sliders i found.Clouds to simplified.visibility 60 nm,clouds 30.etc,etc.Everything has been tried. The grapich quality at the lowest setting, would be far worse than FS2002 medium setting.Other things tried.Anti-aliasing off, changed video drivers, reinstalled patch, reinstalled whole bird, reinstalled FS2004.No good.As i said above. For me in general,FS2004 is more FPS friendly than FS2002.Because of that,i find it very strange that the FPS in FS2004 with your bird should be lower.Makes no sense to me.Hardware related?Would'n say so,seen posted people with same problem, using far better machine than i have.Same problem. The other problem about joystick. This one i can't figure out.Havent seen any posts on that yet.I cant use my Force Feedback stick in FS2002 after installing the patch. If this is related to pmdg i honestly dont know. But the timing would be miraculous if not.It works perfectly in FS2004,but not in FS2002:)Too damn strange for me.Kind of frustrating though, cuz the bird flies good in FS2002:)Hope some of you could come op with some sort of solution to this, because i love this bird, and i would hate not to be able to use it.Finally.Why is it that before the patch, the fps was good with FS2004??Of course, its unflyable within FS2004 without the patch. But i keep on wondering why the patch should make it worse.Must be someone pulling a damn good joke on me here:):):)
