Problems Importing FlightPlans

Featured Replies

Anyone haveing trouble getting flightplans from FSBuild 2.01 into the FMC? I load them in but from my last waypoint to the runway it is showing 6600 miles!! Think this is the reason I'm getting the Insuficent Fuel Mess. Thanks for any help

That is a problem with some FSBuild flightplans, at least in my experience. If you look at some of them in FSBuild itself, they show the same thing.....I have only used the freeware version of FSBuild though, so I don't know if the payware version has the same problem, or if the FMC is the problem.

In this case the flightplan is from ksan-Klax. It is showing up fine in FSBuild. The problem is when it goes into the FMC. Ernie said on his fourm that he thought PMDG was taking care of this in the last patch. Guess Not.

I'll take another look and make sure this is not an error on the Fsbuild2 side in exporting the Rwy [email protected].

Ernie,Same thing here with me. If I set up a simple plane in FSBuild 2.01, Like KATL/KAGS, the distance shows at well over 5000 miles in the FMC. Really only about 130 miles.George Stoddard
