Help using the navigation system

Featured Replies

Is there some website which can help me use the navigation system that comes with the 737? Since it operates nothing like the default 737, I'm confused! How Do I put in my flight planner and get the plane to go to that destination? Thanks!

Hi Big Al,Just to let you know, the PMDG staff want everyone to sign thier posts with thier name. For a tutorial that will help get you started, have a look at this thread...http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...4&mesg_id=13064Good Luck and Enjoy,Jim Richards

Well,You have a good time ahead of you. That is, if you like to read thick manuals and plow through charts and diagrams! ;-) Forget everything about the default 737. This is the real thing.First, start of reading the documentation provided on the PMDG web site.Secondly, search on this forum on tutorials. There are a couple of good, crash-course, how-to-use-the-fmc ones.Thirdly, extent your knowledge by digging into www.smartcockpit.com or download the WILCO FMC manual for the PIC767. It doesn't cover the same FMC, but it's close enough. It can be found hereIf you have any questions just post them here and there will always be someone with an answer.Good luck! :D
