August 12, 200322 yr I've tried to make a repaint of the PMDG 737-600 butmy repaint's seems to be a bit blurry.I do use the repaint liery and save the file as fuse_1_T.bmpwith DXT1 opaque and 565 formatWhat format is the original PMDG house livery? Is there anyone out there who could help me?
August 12, 200322 yr (Nameless)could you sign your post with your real name please, it's our forum policy and let's us know who we are talking too ;)...thanks.The original PMDG house colours are saved in 32 bit with some saved in DTX3.In the paint kits, I supplied layered .psd files and 32 bit .tga files, after painting the livery on the .psd, flatten it, copy and paste it to the .tga, save, then through the paint converter program (Imagetool or DTXbmp), save as 32 bit.bmp or DTX3.bmp without mips, this will give you non blurry images.Regards,Bob JonesPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.com
August 12, 200322 yr It seems burry even now...here is my way to do it:1. open and edit the fuse_1_t.bmp (in paintshop pro) flatten all layers.2. open fuse_1_t.tga and paste the .bmp file into it and save3. open DXTBmp and load normal image (fuse_1_t.tga)4. save extended image ( DX3 with alpha)5. run the FS I have tried with 'extended 32 bit 888-8' as wellIn DXTBmp it looks great, but not in the FSH
August 12, 200322 yr Hi Hakon, uncheck 'include Mips' in the DXTBmp options, and the blurries will be gone.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
