Fs9 Size And Add On Scenery
Hi,performance should improve a bit - the more free space you have on your main FS drive, the better. Also, each hard drive is normally allocated its own separate cache, so loading of scenery should also be marginally quicker.Cheers,G

Fs9 Size And Add On Scenery
Hi there, moving your add-on scenery to a different hard drive isn't a problem at all. All you need to change in the scenery.cfg file is the path to your sceneries (i.e. instead of "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS9\Addon Scenery\xxx" it becomes "E:\Addon Scenery\xxx").Cheers,G

Outlook Express - Not receiving every email
Hi there,it could be that your ISP is blocking e-mails from certain domains - is there a way you can check your e-mail by webmail, rather than using Outlook Express? If yes, and you still can't see the e-mails from that one address, then it would point to your ISP blocking them.Hope this helps,Cheers,G

Bad Licence
Hi Alex, thank you very much, that worked. Unfortunately, I forgot to make a backup of my aircraft.cfg, so I had to reinstall all the repaints again...Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Bad Licence
Hi guys,I bought the Level D 767 when it first came out and registered it. However, when I start FS now, I get a message sayin "Bad Licence - FS will now quit". I have paid for the product, and the forum does not appear to exist anymore (the link I was given was this: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/activate.a...osta3A79256AB9), so does anyone have any suggestions how I could get to run FS again?Cheers,Gostahttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

What a way to celebrate -- shoot your gun when you grease a landing.....
I'm sure a gun salute in celebration of a good landing is a lot more entertaining than polite handclapping from the passengers - BUT should that not have happened after the landing, rather than during the approach? :)Cheers,G

Moving programs to new HD
Hi guys,I'm planning on getting a new hard drive. Being somewhat of a lazy person, I don't feel like installing Windows and all my programs again. So, I'm wondering, is it possible to create an image of my current drive and then just copy it to the new drive (partitions and all), or is that a bit too ambitious?Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Letters to Microsoft

Video driver upgrade = missing aircraft textures??
If those drivers work well for you, I recommend you keep them. Newer drivers don't necessarily offer an improvement over older ones - it all depends on your individual system.Cheers,G

Assigned Runway
First, download some Afcads that will allow realistic runway use, then remember that you will have to request a change of approach and runway separately, as Steven said.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Civilization IV trailer
Ken, we're not married by any chance, i.e. you're not posting under a pseudonym? I got my wife Civ III in a fancy tin box with all the bells and whistles, and she keeps on playing Civ II. And I vividly remember that "one more turn" thing from the days when we had only one computer...Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Payware insanity!!!
Canadian debit cards use a system called "Interac", which requires you to enter your PIN (similar to an EC card). So none of those can be used for online purchases.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Payware insanity!!!
HI Ed,I've got the London scenery from OSS, and that one includes nearly every major landmark within the M25 (including Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, Battersea Power Station, Hammersmith Bridge etc.).Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Calling Dr. Painless
Hi Dom,just install your new hardware, then boot from your XP disk and perform a repair install - XP will detect your new hardware and be configured accordingly. None of your other programs will be affected, as the repair install leaves the registry intact.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Motherboad and cooling...
A matching panel should be included with your motherboard. Just take out the one from the case and pop in the new one - that's it :).Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Motherboad and cooling...
Hi Rick,it depends on the case you're getting, but in all likelihood the case fans will connect to the 4-pin power connectors from the power supply, and not the motherboard connector, so you'll probably lose the case fan monitor.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

How many processes running for FS?
Hi Tim,The Windows Group Policy Editor (run/gpedit.msc) will allow you to enable/disable Windows components. As far as Norton is concerned, you can disable it via selective startup or FS AutoStart. Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Music ?
No, but in most players you can create a playlist, so it will automatically play all the songs you have selected.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
