June 22, 200817 yr Hi guys,I bought the Level D 767 when it first came out and registered it. However, when I start FS now, I get a message sayin "Bad Licence - FS will now quit". I have paid for the product, and the forum does not appear to exist anymore (the link I was given was this: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/activate.a...osta3A79256AB9), so does anyone have any suggestions how I could get to run FS again?Cheers,Gostahttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
June 22, 200817 yr This is in the FAQ forum for licensed members. The "Bad License" error means you have to reinstall. Pretty simple actually. Just re-run the exe and hit the "Click here to Reinstall" button. The Level D forums are here:http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/default.aspIf you need any procedural details, the "Bad License" thread is here:http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/forum_post...20;%20;%20;PN=1
June 22, 200817 yr Author Hi Alex, thank you very much, that worked. Unfortunately, I forgot to make a backup of my aircraft.cfg, so I had to reinstall all the repaints again...Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
January 17, 200917 yr For some reason I no longer can start FS9 because of the same problem.. I have followed the FAQ for reinstall several times making sure that all licenses were removed prior to any reinstall. I have done complete reinstall ver 3 and also reinstalled and stopped at "Setup", which produced new license in flight one and windows folders but still get the "Bad License for B767-300". The only way I can now get FS9 to run is delete the lvld.dll file from the module folder. I have not had any prior problems. I do have FS9 installed on UBS drive for over a year with no problems. The only thing that I did before this started is I removed all files in windows/temp folder. Any help will be most appreciated. Could there be a registry problem with LVDL?? Not sure what to try nextThanks,Carl Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________

January 21, 200917 yr Are you folks using McAfee antivirus? It seems that the latest update thinks that one of the license dlls is a trojan horse and quarantines it. There doesn't seem to be a way to make the antivirus software ignore the file. I'm going to send a copy of the file to to Mcafee so that they can fix it in the next update.SteveThe file can be restored through Mcafee but you'll have to deactivate active protection or it will be quarantined again next time you start the sim. It will also quarantine it during a scan.

Sometimes just can't figure out why certain things happen but at least I am back to flying the 767.
