MCP button lights are not bright enough at night

Featured Replies

With the panel flood light off I find the MCP button lights (e.g., VNAV and LNAV) very dim at night. Apparently, they are drawn without IMAGE_USE_BRIGHT, and thus are subject to FS ambient lighting, which isn't appropriate for an LED.I haven't checked if other lit buttons have the same problem.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Hummm, I was wondering what was going on with my GREEN light without the panel light on. I don't know about USE_IMAGE_BRIGHT? I can change those and I know from the old 98 days that you can use certain FS colours are not changed by night. Now to search it out ;).[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. IMAGE_USE_BRIGHT is used in the C/C++ gauge code. For each element of a gauge, you can turn off brightness, transparency, etc. Each element might be a static bitmap image, sprite, etc.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
