August 12, 200322 yr Hi I was wondering, would it be wrong/illegal to host the files that so many people is missing, i am thinking about the AIRAC 0308 file and a SID/STARS Zip file.If not, i am thinking about setting up a link for these. Please let me now, i just wants to help.Best rgds.Thomas Brix
August 13, 200322 yr This would be great since there were over 100 requests in aprevious post for this data. I still haven't recieved themail from Fred but I'm sure my request got lost in the floodof requests. New owners of the 737NG shouldn't have to huntall over the forums, etc. for the things they need to properlyfly this aircraft. PMDG has, IMHO, the best support of any add-on aircraft vendor but this is one area where the ballhas been dropped. Can you take the silence to mean "yes" untilyou're told not to?Don [email protected]
August 13, 200322 yr Commercial Member I'm really not sure what people want with the SID/STAR file converted from PIC - it's bugged/outdated and doesn't have any of the PMDG specific features like psuedo waypoints etc in then... The SID/STAR syntax is not hard, try programming your own procedures!Ryan Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
August 13, 200322 yr OkI am buggin out, i have just read the copyright note when you install the AIRAC, and i dont wanna offend anybody. But i really think its weird that this data is not a part of the purchase, think about how much time everybody is spending on getting the files, and i guess that PMDG gets a lot of mails regarding this. Me do not understand, but as my girlfriend says, you could write a book with things i dont understand :)Thomas Brix

A plane made with this FMC should be able to use common FMC data and if it doesn't, the planes maker should have it available for download, not something that says "comming soon" when it apparently isn't comming soon ;-)Lance
