Hi, I dont think this is the VNAV deviation scale, I remember on the ND- the navigation poart can be reduced in size, and bleow it it is kind of a mock terrain, to show any possible descent conflicts? I thougth a shot of this earlier in the previews, is this modeled?

Sounds like you're referring to the VSD - Vertical Situation Display. This is a very new addition to Boeing's cockpit suite and I think Lefteris said they might attempt to do it for the 800/900 if they can figure out a way to read the terrain elevations ahead of the plane rather than just immediately below it.Ryan
