Confused about MTOW

Featured Replies

Folks:The PMDG manual states that the MTOW is ~133K lbs. But then on the page that gives V1, Vr, V2, it has speeds for weights up to 70K kg, which is ~155K lbs.I checked Boeing's website and discovered that the 737-700 must come in several variants because there are MTOW's of ~133K and ~155K.So, which one do we have? The FS2004 fuel/payload adjuster (the one that's part of FS9) allows up to 155K before it states that the a/c is overweight. But the PMDG load editor says MTOW is 133KThere's all sorts of conflicting data, so which one is it???Thanks,James

133,000lbs seems way out of line. There is a loader .ini file in the FSPMDG folder you can edit with Notepad to change the MTOW to 154,500 or thereabouts. I tried a takeoff at that MTOW, and it worked just fine.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Here are some numbers from my airline's (COA) B737-700 fleet:OEW : 87100 MAX ZFW : 120500MAX TOW : 154500MAX LGW : 128000all in pounds.
