September 4, 200322 yr Hi, all.Are there any limitations (real world or otherwise) on a pilot- created waypoint with the format "WAYPT/-NM"?Flying from Narsarsuaq (BGBW) Greenland to Keflavik (Iceland), I had a shortage of waypoints, so I had to manually create some. However, when I did, using the "WAYPT/-NM" format, I got some strange results for the waypoint FLOSI.http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/Flosi.jpgDefinitely not on the current leg ;-)Cheers.Ian.P.S. Currently flying around the world... via the "scenic route". Decided to drop by Narsarsuaq, a remote airfield in Greenland that my father told me about... He flew there on an RAF sortie many decades ago. I wouldn't recommend visiting here at night... You have to weave your way through a fjord (sp?) to get there.
September 4, 200322 yr IanI see you have some distance between BGWB and FLOSI. Could the apparent offset of FLOSI01 maybe be related to the GC calculation/draw error that has been reported?Regards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
