September 13, 200322 yr I've just puchase the 737NG,i'm vetran in flight sim.i have bizare with the 737 autopilot.the autopilot ignore mu V/S, ALT data it's just climg like maddnes until the stall is coming.the F/D is ON the autopilot CMD/A or CMD/B is on the FMC is programmed.what can it be.i'm using the fs2004 wuth SU1 update.thanks,
September 13, 200322 yr Hmm, from the way you describe the condition, you might try enagaing Level Change, which the autopilot will climb the aircraft with pitch and trust changes to maintain the selected speed in the MCP, also be sure your elevator trim is set before takeoff, then later you can engage VNAV which gets its data from the FMC. As for the roll control I would use HDG SEL then switch to LNAV. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what it could be, I use the 737NG in FS2002 and I have not experinced a condition like you are describing. Hope this helps.
September 13, 200322 yr You need to sign your name if you desire help on this forum sir, thank you. Without greater detail it is sirt of hard to guess what's going on. Did you have ANY messages about files not being copied during SU1-1 install? Did you make sure to check the correct files(FS9 OR FS2002) were installed by checking the boxes during setup?[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. September 14, 200322 yr Yep, i did,the su-1 detect my FS9 since that's the only msfs i have installed so no place for errors.i've double checked that only fs2004 files installed.
