Nice Review for the NG

Featured Replies

That`s nice RandyAn NG review by someone who did`nt even know what an FMC was prior to buying the NG.I`m sorry to say that it does`nt inspire a lot of confidence in the reviewer.LOL it did amuse though so thanks for the link.;)Bill

How nice those signature pics are ! Feels suddenly cold in here ;-)anthony :+Anthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com

AnthonyLOL,yep it is a bit grim is`nt it?I`ll work on it and warm and fuzzy it up a bit.;)Bill

Bill, you should look at it reverse. A user with no prior experience could read the manuals and have fun with the product. That says far more then all the experts out there who want to nitpick this and that trivial feature as they represent about 1% of the MSFS audience.Ray

RayI see your point.Bill

Hello Randy and the group, A pretty darn good review. Plain and simple.Cheers

Streetgang? Well Bill, that's the nice thing about reviews, you get to review them too. I am not your normal flight simmer, at least I think I am not. I fly with real manuals and generaly need to have as much realism as flight simulator allows. But the community as a mixed breed of sorts. There are many begginers, hard core types (PICers) or others have have never programmed a FMC before and the question to me would be "How difficult is it learning to use a FMC or such a complex add on"? I think the review covers this aspect. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. I may have read all this wrong as I have just looked at it very quickly, and please do inform me if im wrong. But he talks about using the Dreamfleet panel? So he isnt new to FMC and systems?Simon

Yes he does mention this but gives us the impression that he has not got too indepth into the FMC aspect but does have a general understanding. It's true enough that even a person who has used a FMC will think this craft has bugs, and example is on the route page (page 1) because one cannot input without the VIA and TO lines. The point is that unless one keeps track of FMC updates he would not know to hit NEXT PAGE to get the VIA and TO lines. So a manual is needed although I think I will be refering many to read the manual once it comes out hehe..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
