September 18, 200322 yr Flew KLAS to KPDX using the MOXEE FIVE Arrival. I gave myself a 15 mile RWEXT. I followed all the procedures as I did successfully in Tim's tutorial coming into Charlotte. However, the ILS approach was off. The "dots" lined up horizontally and vertically but I came in to the right of 28L landing on the grass. Both CMD A and CMD B were active. One note, I ended up at the west end of 28 L due to the angle of the landing. I dialed in the correct runway heading in the MCP course window. I cannot think of anything else unless there is an FS9 or PMDG bug involved. I suspect the former. Please let me know. I took screenshots(CTRL-PrintScreen and then pasted into a Word doc) but I don't really know how to get them to an acceptable .jpg size for these forums. Any advice for that would be helpful as well.Mike Stinchfield

Sometimes the ILS localizer is not right in the MSFS world.I'll let you know.

The localizer seems to be aligned with the taxiway to the right of 28L.The good news is that the localizer for 28R seems ok, so you can still operate in and out of the airport.
September 18, 200322 yr Hi Mike,Regarding making jpg for posting, I use the following procedure; I press the printscreen key (I don't use Ctrl), open ms paint and paste (ctrl v). Your screen will appear in paint. You can then either just save it as a jpg (select file, save as, press the arrow and go down to jpg), give it a file name and you are ready to go. You can also cut and form the existing file and paste it into another file (select what you want to cut, click file new and paste)and save and your good to go. Hope this helps.Mike MarzettKDFW
July 29, 200421 yr Thanks Timothy. I just ran across this the other night, and thought I was going crazy as well.- John - John Drago
July 30, 200421 yr I haven't used it yet, because I have my own 'tweaked' AFCAD that I'd rather use (I just come in on 28R), but this AFCAD (af2_kpdx_132197.zip here in the library) says that it fixes the 28L ILS so you won't land on the grass or taxiway any longer.
