Virtual Cockpit views....

Featured Replies

Can we talk about the Virtual Cockpit please? I think the view needs to be tweaked so that I can see out in front of me where I'm going so that I can land and fly VFR from it.There is a certain Boeing 727 sim from a certain Captain that I would suggest was the best VC ever made yet for FS2004. Any chance on incorporating some of those goodies on over into our NG 73's?There, was that so hard to say?:-wave

And what "goodies" would they be?Vector graphics? A changeable Appoach plate? The list goes on.My advice is to press Shift+Return to increase your eyeball height or in other terms move your seat up.Slightly tilt the view down to cover the PFD and you're sorted ;)JohnP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Sir you need to sign your posts. Thanks. While Captain Sim produced a fine aircraft please do not suggest that PMDG needs do it it that way, I think it's great the way they have it. If you need to adjust the height you can do as John suggests or set this height in the 700 aircraft CFG file. Scroll down about half way or so to this section:{Views}eyepoint= -7.993, -1.730, 3.910 The last numbers (3.910) will raise you view height. The higher you make the numer the better the over the dash veiw will be. You might have to toy with it untill you get it to you liking. Try this number first...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
