GoFlight compatible ??

Featured Replies

Hi everybody !Can anyone tell me of the GoFlight cockpit products are compatible with PMDG737NG ? As I understand it, some functions are and some aren't. I like to buy some of there products like the GF-166, GF-MCP, ..., but if they do NOT work with the (outstanding) PMDG737NG then...!?Perhaps the oncomming "Keyboard Event Handler" can add some functionality here ?? I shure hope so !Happy Flying !Paul

Hi Paul,Most of the GoFlight modules are compatible. I have the GF-166, GF-LGT and GF-P8 modules and they all use generic FS commands which map onto the PMDG737. Once the key mapping features are available it should be possible to map specific PMDG commands to the P8 module. What you won't be able to do is use the GoFlight autopilot module )GF-MCP) as it only works with the default FS autopilot. Instead consider the excellent Aerosoft MCP747 (www.mcp747.com). Lefteris and Andrew Mclean are currently working on a module that will allow the PMDG to be controlled by the 747MCP.Hope that helps.
