September 25, 200322 yr Hello,is anybody else experiencing heavy problems with the autopilot when simulation rate is higher than normal ?My autopilot is sometimes 'missing' waypoints, missing T/C or T/D points => not cruising / descending and sometimes starts to pull the nose up and down. This is a little disturbing during longer flights that include leaving the pc alone for some time... ;-)
September 25, 200322 yr Hi PatrickI hate to say this but this is a short to medium haul aircraft. You should not be using simulation rates higher than one (1). If you are short of time do a shorter flight. ;-) It's a known issue a lot of the more advanced add-ons have difficulties dealing with time compression. And to me it makes sense. There are so many more calculations to consider in these panels that you would probably need a good real time OS to be able to run in any time compression mode.Just my Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
September 26, 200322 yr Yep, you're absolutely right here. Just wanted to make sure it's a known 'issue' and it's not really my fault. Thanks for the reply !
September 27, 200322 yr G'day PatI ahvn't had any problems with waypoints being missed.I have however hd the autothrottle not keeping the speed correct at anything faster than normal speed. All the best
