sids problems still {737 tng}

Featured Replies

this sim is getting to be a real pain i still cant get the sids data to show in the fmc stars data shows up fine all the files appear to be where they should be i downloaded both the navdata and sids data from the avsim forum no luck should i just delete and reinstall the 737 product?????????

NamelessFirst, please sign your post with your name as per the forum rules.Second, there seems to be a problem with the DEP page not showing at times. Rather than a faulty 737NG installation it is probably due to a misformatted SID/STAR file. So don't reinstall the whole package yet. ;-)One work around that has been confirmed to work is entering a runway on the RTE page before going to the DEP page in the FMC. Tell us if that works and we'll work it from there.Hope it helps,

no joy i did what you said with the route page still no sids data.one of the reasons i think i may have a corrupt install is that the ac also has a terrible pitch up problem and auto throttle problem whether i use the fmc or just basic autopilot i set the fuel load and passenger load i/a/w the fmc tutorial alan mathsen
