October 7, 200322 yr Ok be nice to me. First time posting a message on this forum. I want to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. When pushing for example the speed button on the MCP in the VC, it doesn't lite up, but it works. When I cycle to 2D, the speed button is lit and when I cycle back to VC it magically shows lit. Also, when I push the V/S button nothing happans in my VC. The readout box in red should show +,- vertical speed but doesn't. If I go to 2D everything works as it should and then cycle back to VC the red box shows the correct vertical speed readout and works fine. I really like this VC and don't want to use the 2D if at all possible. Can someone help explain this problem so I can keep flying in VC view. Thanks...............................................
October 7, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi Johamba,In the PMDG forum, please sign your posts with your real name in the future according to PMDG forum rules. The VC is not completely clickable for 2004... yet. We are still waiting for Microsoft's SDK to get everything in order. The upcoming SU2 update will show considerable improvement for the clickability of the MCP. SU2's MCP has all buttons and knobs fully functional and clickable in the VC.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
October 13, 200322 yr Currently the panel system has limitations inherent to the information we get from FS on whether or not we're in VC, etc...So in SU11 the MCP will not update correctly in the VC, and in general, except on the main panel popup gauges will cause panel gauges to stop refreshing. We are working on changing this behaviour. anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
