You can change displays, but that's it.I'll consult the Book of Bulfer when I get home to be sure.
October 7, 200322 yr Thanks tim, I don't normally get this green line even though i generally always backup the fmc with vor info when available (as in normal airline practice). I only started playing with the switches on the windshield panel (Vor/Map/Appr) and pressing the station switches.tia

I only started playing with>the switches on the windshield panel (Vor/Map/Appr) and>pressing the station switches. The way it works now is that the display will pop up once you press the STA switch, and you can't turn it off, (pressing the STA switch seems to "remind" the sim that it's supposed to do this). How it's SUPPOSED to work (and I expect it will in SU2 as Lefteris said he was going to fix it) is that when ever you have a VOR in NAV1 and you are in range (receiving the signal) that green line will show up, and as you adjust the course the line will rotate to show the selected radial and it's reciprocal. When you fly out of range it will vanish.
October 8, 200322 yr Thanks for your efforts, spent almost the hole flight from OUA-LGW trying to remove it heheheh.
October 22, 200322 yr Hi Tim,I was browsing my 737CBT and the lesson stipulates that the green lines are activated by selecting the pos button and not the sta button. I've tried it and lo and behold when the sta button is pushed all the vor light up in blue with the selected or tuned ones in green. Push the button again and they all disappear. Push the POS button and you will get a Blue ADF and two green vor radial lines if all three sources are receiving valid nav info.Hope this helps :)
October 22, 200322 yr CBTs are great, BUT CBTs do not show company options OR updated material like FMC UXXX, for this one needs to consult current AOMs. Very important to keep in mind when comparing to this NG....................................[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
