Hi AllJust getting into this wonderful hobby of FS 2004 and purchased the PMDG 737 of which I am very pleased.Just a quick question thats worrying me hope someone can offfer their help. How do I reinstall the software as I need to wipe my hard drive soon full of rubbish files everywhere and scared of losing my purchase.Downloaded the removal tool can someone please advise how I go about this do I still use my original codes when bought ?Many Thanks Karl

I purchased my 737NG last August, and reinstalled it a couple of times since then. I always used the files I downloaded (4 installation files + SU1.1 + Navdata) without any problems. I understand that earlier versions had a different kind of protection / registration system, so, if you bought your bird before this date, make sure you use the correct uninstall process. Hope this helps.Regards,Sergio SilvaPortugal

Hi,After you re-install you go to the PMDG website and just click on the link where it says 'New Online License Generator'. Of course to use it you will have to have your original order number. Also, I think you need to keep the orginal install file(the 3 data files can be re-downloaded from the website if you want). That's the only 3 things you need to be aware of, if I'm not mistaken. Personally, I keep my original install file and the 3 data files so I don't have to re-download.Regards,Jim

If you install SU1-1 over your base install, you no longer need to generate a registration code. We have reworked our security protection to be more user-friendly.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif
