overspeed and realism

Featured Replies

Hello,Any problem flying overspeed for a long period in FS2004 ? Can I damage the landing gears ? Is there a settings to make FS more realistic ???Today after a landing, in the next leg my aircraft was rolling to the left, fuel was equal in all tanks, aileron/rudder was centered, any idea ? Can it be a damage ?Thanks,Ulisses

Hi, in fs2004 what happens to your aircraft depends on the realism settings. Have a look under that section and you will see something about stress causing damage. If this is set, as well as the crash option, any lengthy overspeeds will cause you plane to crash and fs will reset to your last saved flight. AS to your last question about rolling to the left, what as the wind like that day? Can't think what else it could be, unless you have an engine failure or are out of trim, or if the engine thrust is set differently, but you would have to do that manually anyway. Cheersant
