October 17, 200322 yr I have been having this problem is FS2002 and FS2004 when I have never had this problem before. I get these two messages on the FMC, and cannot engage VNAV, it says "unable crz alt and vnav disconnect." I have read earlier posts regarding weight and TOC being further than TOD, but these are not the problems. For example, when planning a trip KLAS-KSNA at FL240 with about 15k lbs. of fuel, I still get this and can't understand why, these are very normal numbers for this type of segment for a 737-700. Like I said, I have never had these problems before and all of the sudden they appeared?? Any suggestions. Thanks.
October 29, 200322 yr Yes I do, wait for SU2, it won't be too long and you will not see that unless you actually choose a alt too high for the FMC to plan a path. VNAV DIS has also been worked on in all phases of flight. But one must understand the limits for overspeed etc as regards to VNAV DIS or engagement which the manuals will cover ;)...............[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
