Panel Problem

Featured Replies

Hello,Well I finally got this thing installed. When I fly this aircraft using the 2D panel the panel flashes, if I use the VC or other views the panel is fine. This flashing does not happen all the time. What is causing this?. Is it a known issue?.My SystemPIV 3.06 gig hz.1.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM256meg GeForce FX 5900 Ultra video boardDetonator-52.13 video driversThanksMichael Swannick

Yes Michael I have this too, but since I do not currently fly any other aircraft in FS 9 I am not sure if it's limited strictly to the 737NG although it could be. Are you running FS9 also?[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg

Hi Guys,I don't know if this will do anything for you, but try unchecking 'Render to Texture' on the Hardware tab in the Display settings for FS2004. Don't know if that'll clear up the flashing or not, so I'd be curious to hear if it does.Regards,Jimmy Richards

Un checking that stopped the flashing on mine, but the only time I got the flashing was with wxRE running. If you do uncheck the render to texture many of the clouds become lost and its not so realistic.

Well, hmmm. That is interesting that it both stopped the flashing AND made some of the clouds become lost. I have to uncheck mine because I use an addon called 'WeatherCenter', and it's window causes flashing if I pull it up while in the sim with render to texture checked. But unchecking it does not cause my clouds to become lost though. I can still see all clouds for a 100 miles around.Jim
