October 18, 200322 yr Hi!Is there any way to force the FMS to overfly a waypoint? Thanks,TomBerlin, Germany
October 18, 200322 yr Well, the FMC always overflies the waypoint for me except when there is a turn in which case, it starts the turn early so that it can come out of the turn on the route. If it overflew a waypoint before turning, you would end up off course for quite a while (like the FS2002 GPS).
October 18, 200322 yr Hi Tom,There will be possibilities to program overfly points in procedures, i.e. SIDs, STARs, approaches etc. This is implemented in SU2.As far as pilot programmed waypoints go, there is no possibility even in the real aircraft to do that, so we wont see that on our baby either. ;-)Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
