Well, the FMC always overflies the waypoint for me except when there is a turn in which case, it starts the turn early so that it can come out of the turn on the route.If it overflew a waypoint before turning, you would end up off course for quite a while (like the FS2002 GPS).

Hi Tom,There will be possibilities to program overfly points in procedures, i.e. SIDs, STARs, approaches etc. This is implemented in SU2.As far as pilot programmed waypoints go, there is no possibility even in the real aircraft to do that, so we wont see that on our baby either. ;-)Hope it helps,
