June 26, 200223 yr Hi,In my humble opinion, it would be great if one of our talented designers could create replacement textures for the default airport buildings (which are blurry and ugly as far as I can tell). Some available airport add-ons have beautiful building textures, why can't we borrow some of it and create new textures for ALL the airports in FS2002 ?Well, just my 2 cents...CheersTwister
June 26, 200223 yr There is posted here a file called caterm2.zip which:"Texture upgrade, for the, unsightly blue-green, terminal building found at most major default airports in FS 2002. ***This includes the missing texture, mistakenly left out of the original.*** Day, and night replacement textures are included. Public domain. (MR)"I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it sounded close.
June 26, 200223 yr Hi Twister,The one suggested by Kelleym is a good one and I have it in my FS now.In my never-ending search for new scenery to enhance North America, I came across a couple more over at: http://www.fsfreeware.com/dcd/FS2002/Scenery/Autogen Building Texture v1.1 Japan and UsaSuitable for modern buildings, or Japanese scene. In this version, typical Japanese items are not shown in the USA. By Seigo Ito. 297 kb Filename: ag_bld.zipAutogen Replacement Buildings Replacement Autogen Buildings. Made with the assistance of Martin Wrights excellent programs. Not sure how this affects areas outside of the US.
