Crash Problem ....

For some reason whenever I choose the PDMG airplane then click on "Fly Now" I get this error....http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/44607.jpgand it closes FS9 afterwards. However, if I choose a different airplane, go "fly now", then change to PDMG everything works fine. Not a huge problem but kind of annoying. Anyone else experiencing this?Any ideas ?ThanksTony

I've experienced a CTD on occasion when I first load the PMDG 737 under FS2004 and Windows XP. I have an Athlon 2100 CPU and 512 megs of DDR RAM. I'm not sure if this is applicable to your situation but with my setup when I first select the PMDG aircraft I have to wait until the preview panel animation (3D aircraft spinning around view) stops stuttering and turns fluidly. If I select the 'FLY NOW' button before the preview animation is moving fluidly I will frequently experience a CTD. I surmise that the CTD's are tied to pressing the FLY NOW button before this complex aircraft has a chance to fully load itself into the computer's memory. In short, try waiting a little longer for the plane to fully load itself up before pressing the FLY NOW button, the 3D animation preview window technique I mentioned above works for me. :)

James,Excellent find. Works just as you said. I let it circle a couple of times then went in just fine. Great call. Thanks a bunch.Tony
