Hi,First off, this is a remarkable aircraft. I have definatly received my monies worth. This is the second time this has happened.Bug: The service pack seems to have lost it's "power" :) or effectivness. All of the old problems such as fuel embalance, VNAV disconnect, can't reach crz alt, and a host of small problems seems to come back all of a sudden. If I reinstall the sp1, all goes away. Again, this is the second time this has happened. Any ideas?Wilson HinesUAL006|UPS1008|CX776--------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727---------------------------------------ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoader---------------------------------------Athlon XP 2600+|Thermaltake Volcano 7+|Gigabyte GA-7VXP (rev1.1)|Geil PC3200 512MB|GeFarce Ti4600|Antec 1060 SOHO|WD 120 GB 8MB round cables|Lite-On 48X CDRW|Razer Boomslang|19" NEC FE950 & 19" Sony Trinitron| Saitek X45 throttle and stick|HP Scanner and DeskJet 890C|MS Win XP SP1|http://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

Anybody out there with this problem?Wilson HinesUAL006|UPS1008|CX776--------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727---------------------------------------ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoader---------------------------------------Athlon XP 2600+|Thermaltake Volcano 7+|Gigabyte GA-7VXP (rev1.1)|Geil PC3200 512MB|GeFarce Ti4600|Antec 1060 SOHO|WD 120 GB 8MB round cables|Lite-On 48X CDRW|Razer Boomslang|19" NEC FE950 & 19" Sony Trinitron| Saitek X45 throttle and stick|HP Scanner and DeskJet 890C|MS Win XP SP1|http://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

Well fuel imbalance is in SP1 as well, VNAV still disconnects when you reach altitude which is lower then cruise alt (but I believe that's how it should be).So, I am not sure if you really are losing SP1 or just getting the bugs in SP1 :)

Thanks for replying. Yes I am aware that some folks are still having issues with SP1 and, evidently, I must be one of them. However, I will say that I have had great success and enjoyment out of the product since SP1 came out. Not one problem with fuel or VNAV disconect or really anything noticable, until lately.Very frustrating.Wilson HinesUAL006|UPS1008|CX776--------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727---------------------------------------ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoader---------------------------------------Athlon XP 2600+|Thermaltake Volcano 7+|Gigabyte GA-7VXP (rev1.1)|Geil PC3200 512MB|GeFarce Ti4600|Antec 1060 SOHO|WD 120 GB 8MB round cables|Lite-On 48X CDRW|Razer Boomslang|19" NEC FE950 & 19" Sony Trinitron| Saitek X45 throttle and stick|HP Scanner and DeskJet 890C|MS Win XP SP1|http://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

Well it does disconnect BUT one important difference in this case, if you level off at a MCP alt that's lower than your CRZ ALT, the FMA will go "FMC SPD/ALT HOLD". Notice FMC SPD as opposed to MCP SPD. What this means is that it still holds the TARGET speed set on the FMC. All one needs to do to is reset the MCP ALT and hit VNAV and off you go. Pretty cool eh? I call it limbo vnav ;) [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg

Double check and make sure 'indicated airspeed' is selected an not 'true airspeed'Troy
