Featured Replies

Hi My problem is about location of my plain's Latitude&longitue degrees. Forexample when I enter the departure point the lat and long is 4,5 degrees far from the correct point. LTBA is N40-58 E28-58 but I monitor in the posinit, N38- something. This is same all aroud the world. This problem is not occured in FS2002. I hope you can solve this problem otherwise I will have to uninstall and re-installFS2004. Maybe It works.Best RegardsOzgur

Hi OzgurI think your problem has already come up in this forum. Try this one:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchCould have something to do with the comma in the european writing style of the lat/long position. Or the nav database could be incorrect. Try to change some of the FS2004 settings and try to reinstall the NAV database. But I'm really not sure...Cheers :-beerchugMartin

Hi Thanks for your help I ll try your advises but I am not sure about to change my computer's regional settings because FMC properly works in FS2002 and this also proves that the nav data is correct. I will compare fs2002 and fs2004 regional settings in order to determine the differences might be possible. I hope I can solve this problem because I desperetly want to fly with 2004 anymore :(

you have to definitely change your regional settings, like advised before, i had the very same experience and that solved my problem under FS2004.CheersHolger
